Chiropractic Assistant

The chiropractic assistant (CA) is an individual who provides assistance to the physician or patients during the course of chiropractic care. The chiropractic assistant may be trained on the job or may have participated in a formal training program and acquired certification as a chiropractic assistant. The training and certification requirements vary between the states. The role of the chiropractic assistant is defined and set forth by governing state regulations and by the policies of the facility they work in.
