Our Beliefs
1. As an organized body of believers; we believe in God our Father in Creation; manifested Himself through the virgin birth in the person of Jesus Christ who knew no sin but became the sin sacrifice for our redemption; gave His life that we might have life and that more abundantly, and has sent His Spirit to dwell in us, The Church of Christ today.
2. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God, which is the only absolute true and authoritative guide for man’s relationship to God and His life here on earth. It is the ultimate rule of faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:1
3. We believe that there is only one God, externally existent in the person of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
4. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 4:3
5. We believe that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have
everlasting life. John 3:16, John 11:26
6. We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts and converts sinners, dwells in the believer, keeps the believers from the power of sin, and leads him to the Father through his Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 8:9
7. We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded by God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins. Roman 3:23
8. We believe holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people. 1 Thessalonians 4:7
9. We believe in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. Acts 2:4
10. We believe that Jesus died and rose again. Luke 24:46
11. We believe in the return of Jesus Christ and the rapture of the Church, i.e. His Bride and the celebration of reign with Him according to l Thessalonians 4:17
12. We believe that the Holy Spirit lives in all Christians, equipping them for ministry, and producing Fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22, 23
13. We believe in the Gifts of the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:8-11
14. We believe in Water Baptism. Matthew 3:16, Matthew 3:11, Luke 3:16
15. We believe in the Five Fold Ministry being in operation in the church. Ephesians 4:11
16. We believe that nothing is Impossible with Christ and that He must be the substratum of all that encompasses our lives.
