Incoordination

The term incoordination refers to the inability to contract muscles in a smooth  firing pattern during the execution of a voluntary or involuntary movement. This can develop secondary to nerve damage, chronic muscle spasm, or as the result of an injury or degenerative disorder afflicting the central nervous system.
